A NOTE FROM YOUR HUNT DONOR CHAIRMAN

Please take a moment during the banquet to seek out your chapter’s directors and their wives to thank them for
the countless hours they have donated during the past year in preparation of this event. This volunteer board
has selflessly labored in order to present what we all hope will be a memorable weekend.

We are thrilled that each and every one of you has come out in support of hunting. When purchasing an item(s)
from one of our live auctions, keep in mind that our donors are making a financial sacrifice when offering a trip
to LVSCI. They do so for two reasons; first, because like all of us, they believe in our cause and demonstrate
it through the action of donating, second, they are business people, each with the rightful expectation of
gaining a profit. Your acknowledgement of their generosity is best demonstrated by initially tendering a fair
and reasonable offer during the bidding process. Following your winning bid contact the outfitter with the
consideration of taking a friend or family member along at full price or by upgrading your adventure to include
additional animals or days in the field. Even if you were not the successful high bidder, give thought to
touching base with the donating outfitter and book your next adventure with their concession. Your cooperation
will go a long way in helping to ensure that our mutual success continues in perpetuity. When we all pitch in,
everyone comes out a winner.

Take pride in knowing that every dollar raised this weekend will be spent wisely in the support and
promotion of hunting, conservation, education and humanitarian relief.
